Bolvadin Faculty of Applied Sciences (BUBFA) was established to train qualified personnel for employment in the trade, international trade, industry, banking, and finance sectors, and to conduct academic studies in related and adjacent fields. Unlike general educational approaches in the field of economics and administrative sciences in our country, the Faculty of Applied Sciences aims to implement a distinctive education program oriented towards the competent workforce needed by the aforementioned sectors at an operational level. The concentration of education on specific areas increases the graduates’ chances of finding employment and encourages an entrepreneurial spirit.
The AKU Bolvadin School of Applied Sciences was established by the Council of Ministers Decision No. 2010-103 dated 01/02/2010 and began education after being published in the Official Gazette dated 26/02/2010. Following the Presidential Decision No. 4000 dated 20.05.2021, published in the Official Gazette No. 31487 dated 21.05.2021, it continues to serve as the Bolvadin Faculty of Applied Sciences.
Our Faculty, which continues its operations within the Bolvadin Kırkgöz Campus, currently hosts three departments offering 4-year undergraduate programs. Active education began with the admission of students to these departments as follows:
